[Proposal] jing integrated in to Xerces?

Hi all,

At ApacheCon, Andy and I discussed the feasibility of getting a Relax-NG
validator into Xerces.
It looks like it should be possible to modify James' Clark's jing Relax-NG
validator to use XNI natively
and then plug that into Xerces as an validator for Relax NG.

Before I embark on such a project, I wanted to get a sense of whether people
thought that this was a
good idea. I've looked at the License for jing and it's essentially the BSD
license, so we shouldn't have
any licensing issues in this regard.

So what do people think?

Ted
